I’ve just had a sneak preview of a very lush new B & B Langford Fivehead which opens next week (March 1st) in the Somerset Levels just outside Taunton. The building dates back to 1453 and is owned and run by former BBC Good Food editor Orlando Murrin and his partner Peter Steggall

In the end I didn’t get to the island of Janitzio, first pic, one of the most sought after destinations for Day of the Dead, because the crowds are just crazy these days but we went to one of the smaller island on Lake Patzcuaro, Yunuen where we saw these fisherman doing a traditional rhythmic dance with outsize fishing nets.
